Before joining the Archery development team Darren worked as the story producer on Series 2 and 3 of RIVIERA for Archery Pictures working with the writers to create and shape the story for Sky Atlantic’s sun-drenched thriller. Prior to that Darren worked for three years as a story producer on BBC1 flagship crime drama SILENT WITNESS and THE LIVING AND THE DEAD, the six-part Victorian horror series created by Ashley Pharaoh.

Darren started his television career as an office runner for Carnival Film and Television before getting his first editorial role as a script editor on Channel 5 soap FAMILY AFFAIRS. Darren then worked first as a Script Editor and then story editor on HOLBY CITY before leaving after two years when he was commissioned as a writer on the BBC 1 medical drama for several episodes. Darren returned to script editing EASTENDERS for the next two years and then worked on HOLBY CITY for two years as a producer before making the move to focus primarily on story lining as a Story Producer.
